Season two of the popular Irish music programme, TradFest – The Fingal Sessions, was officially launched  in New York by the Mayor of Fingal, Cllr Adrian Henchy, at joint event hosted by Fingal County Council, The WNET Group’s arts and culture streaming platform ALL ARTS and TradFest in Fraunces Tavern, Manhattan.

Walking and cycling take 530,000 cars off Dublin roads every day, according to Walking and Cycling Index. 71% of adults in Dublin walk or wheel at least five times a week, 25% cycle at least once a week.

National Tree Week will take place from 3rd March to 10th March 2024 and Fingal County Council has a number of initiatives planned to celebrate this and including plans to distribute 10,000 trees to residents for planting across the county, as well as hosting a number of community planting events and workshops

Fingal County Council has decided to proceed with Public Realm improvements for a Pedestrianised New Street, Malahide with detailed design work to commence in the coming weeks.
