The Meakstown community has today welcomed the opening of a new playground for all ages within Lanesborough Park in Dublin 11

The closing date for submission of Expressions of interest Forms for the  Streetscape Enhancement Scheme 2024 has now been extended from April 8, 2024 to April 22, 2024, 12pm.

Rush, Ireland - March 28, 2024 - Up to 1,000 excited attendees, including families from across the community, gathered for the annual Let’s Play Rush event held on Easter Fun Day at Kenure Woods Park. Organized by volunteers from Rush Tidy Towns, Rush Community Council, and Rush 38th Scout Group, with funding from Fingal County Council, the event delivered a memorable day filled with joy and excitement for all.

The Mayor of Fingal Cllr Adrian Henchy and Fingal Chief Executive AnnMarie Farrelly recently cut the ribbon on a new facility in Millennium Park specifically aimed at providing a quality safe space for teenagers and young adults.

Representatives of Fingal County Council, as Lead Partner on the Urbact EcoCore Project, visited the partner city of Santo Tirso in Portugal to learn about the city’s approach to sustainable economic development.
