Africa Day 2026 to be celebrated across Fingal

The Fingal Community Development & Inclusion Department in collaboration with the Department of Foreign Affairs/Irish Aid, is supporting various groups to celebrate Africa Day 2026. The events will showcase the many cultural aspects of Africa and embrace our shared heritage.

Initiative Encouraging Households to Go Smoke Free this Summer

Last Friday, Healthy Fingal, in collaboration with the HSE and Empower launched the Smoke Free Homes Initiative in Bracken Educate Together National School in Balbriggan, with Deputy Mayor Cllr Gráinne Maguire joining representatives from Healthy Fingal, the HSE, and community partner Empower to mark the occasion.
