Community and Voluntary Groups in Fingal are invited to apply for funding under the Local Enhancement Programme (LEP) 2026.
The funding aims to provide capital support to community groups and organisations in Fingal with a particular focus on disadvantaged communities in both rural and urban areas. The LEP 2026 funding will support small-scale capital works, equipment purchases and facility improvements.
The funding also aims to support local strategic priorities through linkages with Local Economic Community Plans (LECPs).
Fingal County Council has been allocated a total of €268,827.22 in funding. The Local Enhancement Programme (LEP) 2026 is funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht (DRCDG). Applications are now being sought from Community Groups in Fingal - closing date Friday, 27th February 2026.
Welcoming the Local Enhancement Programme (LEP) 2026, Mayor of Fingal, Cllr Tom O’Leary, said:
“The Local Enhancement Programme provides vital support to Community Groups and Organisations to help them carry out invaluable work improving their facilities and purchasing equipment. This support will help improve local facilities, ensuring groups can continue to serve their communities effectively. Fingal County Council is proud to back these initiatives, especially in disadvantaged areas and encourages all eligible groups to apply for this valuable support.”
