Why Environmental Literacy Matters
Environmental literacy is essential for students as it equips them with the knowledge and skills to understand and address the environmental challenges facing our world. By fostering an awareness of how natural systems function and how human actions impact the environment, students become empowered to make informed decisions and take responsible actions. Environmental literacy encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and a sense of stewardship, preparing students to contribute to a sustainable future and become advocates for environmental justice and conservation.
