Fingal County Council is delighted to announce news of a new public artwork for Balbriggan. The work titled “Wish you Were Here” by local artist Dave West has now been installed at the prominent Banks site at Balbriggan Harbour and was officially launched by Mayor of Fingal Cllr Howard Mahony on Tuesday 14, February.
Fingal County Council is hosting a Community hedge-laying event this weekend in conjunction with Balbriggan Tidy Towns and the Hedge Laying Association of Ireland.
Balbriggan’s growing reputation as a centre for the arts will be further enhanced between now and Christmas with a series of cultural happenings in the town including Matthew Kelly’s ‘Dear Balbriggan' and Alison O’Grady’s 'Ár mBaile'.

Bathing water quality results from resample taken on Monday 22nd August 2022 met the standard for poor water quality. The prohibition notice remains in place and has been extended until 31st August.
