Fingal County Council, in association with Age & Opportunity and Tyrone Guthrie Centre, is pleased to announce the two recipients for the month-long residencies at the Tyrone Guthrie Centre.

Fingal County Council, in partnership with Ardgillan Castle, is pleased to announce the return of the Studio Award, offering a funded studio space for professional artists for a one-year period starting 1st October 2024.

Fingal County Council, Creative Ireland and the Irish School Orchestra presented ‘Orchestral Odyssey’ for children and families in Swords in June 2024. The magic of a full orchestra was brought directly to children in school settings and families in the newly refurbished Carnegie Library.

A fully funded two-day residential for artists is announced by the Exploring & Thinking Partnership – Fingal County, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County, South Dublin County and Dublin City Council. The residential is planned for 9 and 10 October 2024, will take place in Balbriggan, and is looking for 12 artists that currently work in or are interested in working in Early Childhood Arts. 

This August Fingal County Council Environment and Climate Action Team is providing 8 beach workshops in which people can attend to learn about the beach system, litter, marine plastics, ecology and climate change.
