Fingal County Council has been awarded €260,000 in funding by the Department of Rural and Community Development under the new Town and Village Streetscape Enhancement Scheme 2021.

Fingal County Council welcomes today’s High Court decision to refuse an application for an injunction to reverse the pedestrianisation of New Street in Malahide.  The judicial review proceedings are to be dealt with at a later date.

Please be advised that the 'Do Not Swim' prohibition notice at Malahide Beach has been lifted following the return to "excellent" quality in the results of latest sampling taken on August 7th and received today.  However the Prohibition at Front Strand Balbriggan has been extended for 72hrs due to a result of "sufficient".
