Fingal County Council has held a civic reception at County Hall in Swords in honour of boxing champion Niamh Fay who won gold at the European Youth Boxing Championships.
A member of Swords Boxing Club, the Ballyboughal native won the gold medal when she defeated Croatia's Nikolina Cacic in Sofia, Bulgaria in September.
An innovative online platform to support the sports and health education of school children called the Healthy Fingal Learning Portal has been launched by Fingal County Council.
Artist's Alan James Burns' VR exhibition to be experienced in the Carnegie Library. The artwork is jointly commissioned by Fingal County Council Arts Office and the European Commission’s SciArt and is funded by the Arts Council of Ireland Open Call Award.
