Join Empower at the Irish Institute of Music and Song, Church Street, Balbriggan March 8th 10am to 12.30pm

Includes presentation by Catherine Lane of the National Women's Council and a reading by local author Patricia Langton, refreshments and light entertainment 

Join Aster FRC and Fingal County Council at 1 George's Square Balbriggan on March 9th from 1 to 3pm for a lunchtime workshop for International Women's Day

Balbriggan Women's Development Group present Balbriggan Women's Shed at Cairde Balbriggan, Hampton Street from 10am to 1pm March 8th for International Women's Day

Swords Women’s Shed will celebrate their first birthday on March 8th. They are also hosting an evening of invaluable talks and interactive sessions for women in St. Colmcille's GAA, Hollybanks, Swords finishing with songs from One Voice Singers Swords 

Holywell Community Centre welcome women to a Finance Wellness Information Session, with Swords Citizens Advice. This practical session which focuses on how to save money, guidance on your tax credits, social welfare entitlements the session will take place Tuesday 7th March 2023

From 11am to 12pm.

The Exhibition involves 45 photos and stories showcasing the leadership of Fingal Women in Community Action as part of International Women’s Day.

Fingal International Women's Day 2025 is a significant initiative led by Fingal County Council’s Community Development Department, designed to celebrate and raise awareness of this important global occasion. This year, an extensive programme of over 62 events will take place across the county from March 3rd to March 10th, highlighting the achievements, contributions, and roles of women in our communities.
