The meeting took place following the recent Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announcement of an all-season bathing advisory for Front Strand Beach in Balbriggan and the poor-quality bathing water experienced at times last year.

Mayor of Fingal Howard Mahony  opened a new community garden in Blanchardstown, on Wednesday May 17, 2023. The ‘GLAS @ TU Dublin’ garden will provide a space for local community groups and schools to grow fresh produce, reconnect with nature, and foster a stronger sense of community.

Cruinniú na nÓg is a flagship initiative of the Creative Ireland Programme’s Creative Youth Plan to enable the creative potential of children and young people.
