Mayor of Fingal, Councillor Anthony Lavin in the company of Minister Damien English T.D. launched two important documents as part of Fingal County Council’s Age Friendly strategy in The Atrium.

Every year there are hundreds of incursions into roadworks which put road workers’ lives at risk and lead to deaths and serious injury. This has spurred local authorities from around Ireland to join forces to take action.

Fingal County Council’s investment in the Stephenstown Link Road opens up almost 23 hectares of industrially zoned lands for development with the potential to bring approximately 900 new jobs to the area. 

Balbriggan’s town centre will become a free public Wi-Fi zone thanks to a unique initiative that provides locals and visitors with unlimited access to speeds of up to 100mps and could position the town at the forefront of smart technology.
