Fingal County Council has received more than 1,000 submissions and surveys from members of the public in relation to the proposed route for the Royal Canal Urban Greenway. The most recent six week-long phase of consultation ended on Wednesday, July 7.

These works utilise painting techniques and approaches that required a huge amount of research and experimentation over quite a few years. Processes such as encaustic with its use of oil, wax, pigment and dammar varnish are time consuming, temperamental and difficult materials to control. 

Kieran Goss has long been considered one of Ireland’s greatest songwriters. Together with singer and artist Annie Kinsella, who has joined him onstage on his recent tours, they have enchanted audiences with their live performances and won rave reviews.  

Fairport Convention has been making great music for over fifty years. The concert will feature an opening performance by wonderful Irish singer/songwriter sibling duo The 4 of Us. 

Fingal’s Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) has approved the allocation of over €152,000 to community and voluntary groups across the region under the 2021 Community Enhancement Programme.

Comprising of just under 60 members, Fingal Youth Orchestra nurtures the orchestral playing of musicians ranging from 8 to 18 years of age, and this concert will showcase the wonderfully talented members.

This September Newbridge House on the 4th & 5th, and Catherine’s Park on 11th & 12th, will be transformed into a bustling summer festival site for all ages.  ‘Celebrate Fingal’ is free-to-attend to people who are residents of Fingal, but pre-registration for tickets was essential due to limited capacity and safety restrictions.
