Work has officially begun on the R132 Connectivity Project in Swords, a transformative infrastructure project designed to support the town’s rapidly expanding population and growing transport needs. 

Fingal County Council has appointed Murphy as the contractor for the R132 Connectivity Project in Swords and signed the multi-million contract today at County Hall.  The major project is being funded by the National Transport Authority.

Secondary school students across Fingal are using creativity and storytelling to explore environmental issues as part of the Rubbish Film Festival, an all-Ireland initiative that challenges young people to respond to the climate crisis through short films.

Attending IFEX 2026 is designed to support emerging and scaling producers from Fingal in expanding their market reach.
