The next stage in the reconstruction of the Brackenstown Road (L2030) in Swords is due to start shortly as part of ongoing road strengthening works being carried out by Fingal County Council.

Cherry Laurel clearance works are set to commence at The Usher’s Lake area of Ward River Park on Monday 18th September. The entrance to the park on The Old Brackenstown Road will be closed on the 18th and 19th September and small areas of the park will be closed to the public while works are ongoing.

Fingal Libraries seventh annual Festival of History was launched at Swords Castle on Wednesday 13th September. The festival will run from Monday 2nd to Thursday 12th October 2023 throughout the library branches.
