Fingal County Council has welcomed the commencement of two new affordable and social housing developments which, when completed, will deliver in excess of 1,100 homes to the Fingal area.

Ten months after construction commenced, the €40m centre-piece of the Swords Cultural Quarter is taking shape and is on schedule to open its doors in 2027. 

Our historic street furniture are often taken for granted. Limestone kerbing is replaced, post boxes updated, pumps removed when no longer in use. However it is these elements that bring character to our streets and roads and reflect our social history. 

Season 5 of the community excavation Digging Drumanagh will take place between 14-28 May 2025.
