Fingal Cruinniú na nÓg 2020 Open Call

Fingal County Council is pleased to announce an open call for artists, creative practitioners, arts organisations, and creative/cultural communities to submit applications for Cruinniú na nÓg 2020 as part of the Fingal Creative Ireland Programme.

This open call is for activities, performances, readings, workshops, interactive art installations, etc to take place on Saturday 13th June 2020 across the Fingal area. Events can be one-off taking place on the 13th June or can be project-based with the final outcome demonstrated at a free public event on the 13th June.

Cruinniú na nÓg 2020 is an all-Ireland event which celebrates and encourages children and young people’s participation in activities such as art, music, coding and theatre workshops, performances, exhibitions, readings, film screenings and much, much more.  All Events are free, local and activity-based.  It’s a day for ‘doing’, ‘making’ and ‘creating’.

Fingal County Council is seeking to develop a wide-ranging programme of work across all art forms through activities, performances, developmental workshops or creative projects for/by young people aged 0-18. All activities must take place across the Fingal area and can happen in community centres, public spaces and parks, schools, libraries and other suitable venues.

Consideration will be given to all art forms and creative forms including but not limited to visual art, music, dance, drama, storytelling, puppetry, circus, street art, performance, coding, design, readings, poetry, architecture, STEAM etc. We are looking for innovative activities that are ambitious, innovative and foster creativity in children and young people from all backgrounds.

Awards will be given up to a maximum of €2,000
