Fingal County Council Arts Office and MART Studio and gallery announce return of Graduate workspace studio residency 2027

Fingal County Council Arts Office, in partnership with MART Studios and gallery announce the 2027 MART Studio graduate residency. This opportunity aims to support the professional development of recent graduates from Fingal County Council with a fully funded studio space over 12 months beginning in January 2027.

Applications close October 2nd 2026.

Included in this award is a studio space for an individual artist at MART Studios Rathmines. Studio rental, utilities, and administrative costs will be covered to help provide the artist with the time and space to develop their practice as well as opportunities to engage with other creatives.

This residency will be offered to one graduate. The opportunity is part of a series of initiatives by Fingal Arts Office to promote and support the professional practice of emerging artists. It will provide an ideal environment for the development of creative projects, development of a graduate’s practice and an opportunity to network with other artists.

Application are open to artists who have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in 2023-2026. Applicants may reapply if they were unsuccessful in previous years. The graduate must currently live in, be originally from or have studied in Fingal. Active usage and engagement with the studio residency are required by the recipient.
