Fingal County Council and Irish Water advise customers of water outages and disruption across Fingal due to essential works

Water outages and disruption will affect several areas of Fingal in the coming days due to emergency repairs and essential works.

The water outages will occur in Balbriggan and Rush on June 2 to carry out essential repairs impacting customers. While works are ongoing customers across the areas will experience water outages on Tuesday 2 June between 10:00am and 4:00pm. It may take 2-3 hours for normal water supply to return to all customers, but it is important to continue to follow the HSE guidance on hand-washing.

The areas to be affected during the outage are Pinewood, Castlelands, Derham Park, Craoibhin Park, Fancourt Heights, Hampton Cove, Seapoint, Hampton Street and Barnageeragh Hill will experience water outages on Tuesday 2 June between 10:00am and 4:00pm.

Fingal County Council and Irish Water are also working in partnership to carry out essential maintenance works at Swords Wastewater Treatment Plant impacting customers in Swords until Friday 12 June. During these works there will be disruption to water supply and there may be intermittent odours.

Every effort will be made to minimise the risk of odours and to complete these works as quickly as possible.
