Fingal County Council is to prioritise the promotion of Active Travel as part of its ongoing commitment to Climate Action, with additional changes to Council departments to further strengthen the Council’s housing delivery and economic development capacities.

Fingal County Council is set to carry out emergency works in Portrane including protection works at Quay Road and the relocation of Seabees at Burrow beach. 

The Restart Grant Plus Scheme, including the top-ups applied nationwide and in certain counties, will close from midnight on Saturday 31st October.  A new COVID Restrictions Support Scheme (CRSS) was established as part of Budget 2021 on 13th October 2020 and is being operated by the Revenue Commissioners

The Community Development office of Fingal County Council is running the Virtual Halloween 2020 Countywide Project which will see funding given to 27 community centres to run a mask making, colouring and poem writing competition using virtual mediums.
