The latest Dublin Economic Monitor, published this morning by the four Dublin Local Authorities, shows a solid economy in Q3 2024, with growth driven by employment, retail spend and private sector activity.

Fingal County Council has officially launched a BoxUp unit in Millenium Park, Blanchardstown.  The unit which provides free access to sports and leisure equipment was launched by Mayor of Fingal Cllr Brian McDonagh on Friday November 1, 2024.

The additional information submitted by daa on November 13 in relation to planning application F23A/0781 is significant as determined by the Planning Authority. Public consultation has now recommenced with a deadline of January 8, 2025, for third party observations and submissions.

Councillors last night agreed Fingal County Council’s 2025 budget of €389m which is a 7.5% increase on last year.

Community and Voluntary Groups in Fingal are invited to apply for funding under the Local Enhancement Programme (LEP) 2025. The Programme provides both capital and current funding support to a wide and diverse range of local groups, including Men’s Sheds and Women’s Sheds.

Fingal has collaborated with international wildfire experts, Dublin Fire Brigade and local community groups to develop a proactive wildfire management strategy at Howth.
