Following a return to “excellent” status at Loughshinny Beach in the results of laboratory analysis the issued Prohibition (Do not swim) notice has been removed from the noticeboard today.

A temporary Do Not Swim Notice has issued for Loughshinny Beach for 6 days due to visual reports of sewage pollution, likely caused by discharge from wastewater network. 

Fingal County Council has been awarded over €74,000 in funding by the Department of Rural and Community Development under the Town and Village Renewal Scheme for Accelerated Measures in response to COVID-19.
