Fingal County Council officials have met with stakeholders in Malahide where they outlined a future plan for the New Street Pedestrianisation Zone following the successful implementation of a pilot initiative over the past number of months.

Fingal County Council, in partnership with Fingal Dublin Chamber and Magnet Networks, is moving onto the next phase of delivering free outdoor public Wi-Fi to towns and villages across the County over the coming months.

The Fingal Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) has issued an invite to groups to apply for funding under the Community Enhancement Programme (CEP) 2020 scheme for community centres and community buildings.

Europe’s first contactless bottle filling stations are being rolled out in the Fingal area by a local company Ecofil for Fingal County Council. 

Following a return to “excellent” status at  Rush North, Skerries South in the results of laboratory analysis the issued Prohibition (Do not swim) notices are being removed from the noticeboards today at each of the above beaches. A replacement Do Not Swim notice was issued for Front Strand, Balbriggan for 6 days due to due to a “poor” result.

Please be advised that the Prior Warning Notices issued August 26th 2020 for Velvet Strand Portmarnock and Loughshinny have been removed by Fingal County Council.
