Following receipt of today's bathing water sample results, Claremont Beach, Howth has been classified as Poor. As a result of this classification, a Do Not Swim notice will be erected at Claremont Beach.

With the exception of Claremont Beach, Howth, which was classified as Poor, all other sampled locations, including Malahide, achieved an Excellent water quality classification.

The annual compliance report of daa, as the airport authority for Dublin Airport, for the 2025 operational year is now available on the ANCA website.

Following a resample at Velvet Strand, Portmarnock, the water quality has been classified as "Excellent".
