Bathing Water quality results for monitoring samples taken on Monday 6th September, 2021. The results met the standard for “excellent” for all identified bathing waters. The non-identified bathing water at Malahide Beach (constant red flag) met with “excellent” status also.

Fingal County Council Arts Office is delighted to announce another very exciting programme of free events taking place in various locations in Fingal to celebrate Culture Night 2018. Culture Night is an annual national public event that celebrates culture, creativity and the arts. For one night only on Friday 21st September, arts and cultural organisations, churches, castles and historic houses in Fingal will extend their opening hours to the public, highlighting a variety of local talent and fantastic cultural facilities. Who Shot Sergeant Kirwan? commemorative film launch
A commemorative film Who Shot Sergeant Kirwan? which re-enacts a major altercation in Ballyboughal in 1921 will be launched by Mayor of Fingal Cllr Seána Ó Rodaigh on Friday 27 August 2021 and public viewings will be held in Ballyboughal National School on Saturday and Sunday.

Green Flag Raised at Rush South Beach
The Green Flag, representing the Green Coast Award 2021, was raised on Rush South Beach today by Mayor of Fingal, Cllr Seána Ó Rodaigh. The prestigious Award, representing environmental excellence was won by the Beach for the first time in 2021.
Special Visitors at First FAI Summer Soccer School in Tyrrelstown
The Irish women’s national football team head coach, Vera Pauw, and goalkeeping coach, Jan Williem van Ede, visited the first FAI Summer Soccer School to be held in Tyrrelstown on August 3. Their visit will hopefully encourage the children to keep playing football and to join the Tyrrelstown FC academy which is due to start in September.
