Fingal is proposing new play facilities for Loughshinny

Fingal County Council has commenced work on the redevelopment of the GAA and soccer pitches at Skerries Town Park, with a €1.3 million investment designed to enhance sports and recreational facilities for local clubs and the wider community

Dublin Climate Action Week 2026 will feature a wide range of events across Dublin that explore key climate themes and highlight ongoing projects, shared objectives, and the collaborative work of the four Dublin local authorities in taking climate change action.

Applications have been received from professional artists under the Final Artists’ Support Scheme 2026, a long-established funding scheme supporting the development of artistic practice across the county. The scheme originated as a key recommendation of the Council’s Arts Development Plan 2013-2017 and was adopted in 2014. Now in its thirteenth year, it remains a central mechanism through which the Council invests in its professional arts sector.
