The commencement of works to construct the €10 million Ballymastone Recreational Hub, Donabate has been officially marked with a contract signing.

Elected representatives, community partners, and project staff gathered yesterday at TU Dublin Blanchardstown as Fingal County Council formally launched the Corduff Place Standard Tool Report. The report presents the findings of an in-depth community engagement process carried out with residents, local organisations, and service providers throughout 2025.

Fingal County Council’s Community Development staff are supporting 65 community groups to celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8th, awarding €18,000 in bursaries to help ‘Shine a Light’ on women’s contributions across Fingal.

As part of Fingal County Council’s ongoing commitment to youth development and engaging young people with democracy, Fingal recently sponsored a trip to Strasbourg for a local student as part of the Graduate.ie Active Citizenship & Democracy Programme.

The National Famine Way Roadshow goes on tour during March 2026, visiting seven locations along the route, and will be in Blanchardstown Library in Fingal on Thursday 19th March from 2pm-3:30pm.
