The Exploring & Thinking Early Childhood Arts Residency Awards offers a unique opportunity for artists to develop and deliver early childhood arts residencies for children (aged 0 -5 years) and their caregivers living in homeless accommodation across the Dublin region.   

Fingal County Council Arts Office is delighted to present  a new public artwork by Irish Artist John Kindness, titled ‘Harry’s Wall’ located on Harry Reynold’s Road (Hampton Woods), Balbriggan. 

The Finance (Local Property Tax) Act 2012 (as amended) makes specific provision that elected members of a local authority may pass a formal resolution to vary the basic rate of the Local Property Tax for their administrative area by a percentage known as the local adjustment factor. The Council will meet to consider the setting of a Local Adjustment Factor for 2027. Members must decide whether to retain the variation agreed in 2025, agree an alternative variation, or apply no variation.

A planning application to expand Dublin Airport’s annual passenger capacity from 32 to 40 million is under review. ANCA has assessed the proposal, identifying measures to reduce aircraft noise impacts and updating noise objectives. A 14‑week public consultation is now open.

Active Travel and Sport, in partnership with Active Cities, is delighted to be hosting MOVE at Swords Castle, a free community wellbeing and fitness event taking place on: Sunday, June 7th 11:30am – 3:00pm.  Including Bilingual Yoga classes that will take place as part of the MOVE festival at Swords Castle, which will be held on Sunday, 7th June from 11:30am to 3:00pm.
