To help bring vacant and underused buildings back into residential use across the region, Fingal County Council has now approved over €4.5 million in grant payments under the Croí Cónaithe scheme.  

Fingal County Council has prepared a Draft Local Area Plan (LAP) for Flemington, Balbriggan. This plan outlines a vision for the development of the area with a strong emphasis on long-term sustainability, the reduction of carbon emissions, and the protection of the natural environment.

The Balbriggan Recovery Cafe is a Sober Space for Over 18s that includes light refreshments, music and a place to meet others in recovery.

A number of projects in Fingal have been shortlisted in both the Chambers Ireland Excellence in Local Government Awards and the Ireland eGovernment Awards. This recognition highlights Fingal's ongoing commitment to innovation, community engagement, and environmental conservation.
