Learn about the BBC microbit and how it can be used to control motors using MakeCode block coding software. In this workshop you will work in pairs to build a remote-controlled buggy, as well as gain an understanding about how radio signals and accelerometers are used to control it remotely.

Irish Aphasia Theatre will be running a series of free, accessible workshops for people who have brain injuries, aphasia, or early brain diseases. Irish Aphasia Theatre uses theatre and the performing arts tools to empower participants and enhance communication skills and confidence.

Attendees will be introduced to crime scene investigations from the point of view of the forensic scientist.

This workshop presents the five curriculum strands (numbers, algebra, shapes and space, measures and data) to students in a fun and interactive way.
