Prior warning notices erected at Portmarnock, Rush North, and Balbriggan
Following discussions with Met Éireann, it has been confirmed that tomorrow (27 August) there is a forecast period of up to six hours during which rainfall totals in excess of 10mm may occur across the Fingal coastal area.
In light of this forecast, Fingal County Council has decided that Prior Warning Notices will be erected at the following beaches: Portmarnock Balbriggan Rush North These warnings are being implemented as a precautionary measure in response to the forecast rainfall event and the potential associated impact on bathing water quality.
