Shapes & Structures Creative Response Space in Draíocht Arts Centre

The Shapes & Structures Creative Response Space is open for self-directed play for you and your child. It provides an opportunity for, open-ended, shared play and creativity. A space that encourages children and their adults to explore a variety of materials.
Designed by artist Sarah Ward, our Shapes & Structures - Creative Response Space provides a relaxed environment that will help you and your child to further explore and engage in creative play, independently, or together with an artist. 
Sarah Ward has taken inspiration from Draíocht's Ground Floor Gallery Exhibition 'Navigating Space' by Maria Atanacković, whose colourful works on paper, wood, and linen can be enjoyed before or after your visit to the Response Space.
This space allows you and your family to explore a variety of materials, including fabrics, cardboard, paper and wood; as well as a variety of processes, including drawing, making and arranging.
