Skerries North Beach

Skerries North Beach is a 1.2 km long cove-like beach adjoining the fishing harbour area. A coastal walkway around Red Island onto the South Strand adjoins this beach. There are children’s playground and car parking facilities at Red Island.

Skerries North Beach is a 2 minute walk from Skerries town.

There’s several pedestrian access points on the beach.

Dublin Bus operates route 33 which stops 2 minutes' walk from the beach

If you're taking Irish Rail, the station at Skerries village is a 20 minute walk to the beach.

If travelling by car, see the Google map link at the Location sidebar on the right of this page to plan your route.

Facilities include car parking along the South Strand and Harbour Road (pay and display), public toilets, and a lifeguard station operational during summer months only. Lifeguards are on duty from 11 am to 7 pm on Saturdays and Sundays in June and every day from July to August.
