Creative Places Balbriggan

Creative Places Balbriggan is an Arts Council funded project within Fingal Arts Office which aims to make the arts more accessible within the community through increased engagement in socially engaged, community-led creative activities. 

Our Mission is to create opportunities for the people of Balbriggan to connect with each other in new and creative ways. With the support of artists, we aim to explore and make a real confident, creative future for the town that reflects its unique identity, diversity and energy and to have a positive impact on all those who live and work here. 

The Creative Places Strategy 2026-2027 focuses on three main pillars of work in the Balbriggan community: Creative Youth, Creative Industry and Climate Action.

Through these focused pillars and with funded developmental opportunities, increased community creative participation and sustained community engagement with the Local Support team over the 3-year project, the ambition is that Balbriggan will be widely rwcfogines and celebrated as a creative place that creates opportunity, connection and optimism for the future.

Making Waves Seed Funding Scheme 2026

Creative Places Balbriggan is now seeking funding application for the Making Waves Seed Funding Scheme 2026. The scheme is open to individual artists and Balbriggan community groups and organisations. Closing date is Friday June 26 2026 at 5pm.
