The Fingal 2020 COVID-19 Emergency Fund

The Fingal 2020 COVID-19 Emergency Fund (formerly known as Fingal Community Response to COVID-19 Funding) is a grant programme to provide funding to groups/ organisations that are directly involved in the Fingal Community Call response and or responding locally to the COVID-19 pandemic.


The scheme is funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development and administered by the Fingal County Council Community Culture and Sports Division.

Activities Funding

We have a small budget to support Activities Funding.  The types of activity that may be eligible are: 

  • Community, Culture and Sports development
  • Community, Culture and Sports events
  • Environmental enhancement
  • Office equipment
  • Arts & Crafts materials
  • Publications

Summer Project Funding 2020

A funding programme aimed at community and volunteer groups that provide recreational and educational services to young people during the summer across Fingal. 

Emphasis is placed on encouraging community involvement and the development of resources with groups within the Fingal area. Fingal County Council’s Community Culture & Sports Division encourages community groups and projects to apply for a grant which provides a subsidy to enable the project leaders to run a successful Summer Project.

Projects can apply for funding of up to €2,000 each.

How to Apply

Complete and submit the Summer Project Expression of Interest Form on or before 28th February 2020.
