Active Travel is now a board game! All Fingal primary schools have recently received active travel games packs!

Fingal have teamed up with Picker Pals to offer fun and inspiring resources that link active travel with environmental action. 

Fingal teamed up with Picker Pals to create a colourful new pack for classrooms- featuring Ludo, Snakes and Ladders, and a giant A1 corridor poster game, all with an Active Travel twist.

These games are designed to get kids excited about walking, wheeling, scooting, skating and cycling while reinforcing key travel and environmental messages through fun, play-based learning.

🧩 What’s in the pack?

  • Enough game boards and card sets for a whole class (up to 32 pupils) to play together
  • Flip the boards to reveal a second game on the back
  • Engaging cards and characters with built-in Active Travel messages
  • Instructions for special variations- the kids love them!
  • A1 poster game for your school corridor
  • Take-home Active Travel leaflets for families

🎉 We piloted these in a Fingal school and they were a huge hit with students and staff alike.
