What is Fingal Inclusion Week?

Fingal Inclusion Week is an initiative led by Fingal County Councils Community Development Office. This week-long celebration takes place from the 17th to the 23rd of November and is now in its seventh year.

Fingal Inclusion Week aims to highlight the positive work that community groups, agencies and other organisations are doing throughout the county to support inclusion, equality, and diversity. Inclusion week invites us to be curious, learn, connect, and celebrate both our differences and what unites us.

Inclusion Week invites you to come together with your community and celebrate inclusion in all its forms. Events will be taking place across the county and Fingal County Council are encouraging and supporting communities to participate in Fingal Inclusion Week with the availability of a small Bursary of up to €300, available to Community & Voluntary Groups.

Many events will take place across the County of Fingal and full details are available below. All Fingal Inclusion Week events are free to attend and open to everyone.

Fingal Inclusion Week aims to:

  • Highlight the positive work that communities, agencies and other organisations are involved in to reduce social exclusion and poverty in Fingal.
  • Raise awareness of the barriers experienced by citizens of Fingal that lead to social exclusion.
  • Promote an understanding of inclusion in Fingal and celebrate diversity across the county.
