Skerries Wild Bee Festival Returns for 2025!
Skerries Wild Bee Festival returns to Skerries Mill from 20-22 June 2025
The Skerries Wild Bee Festival, now in its fourth year, is a family-friendly event with bee themed crafts and activities for children as well as educational events and lectures suited to serious nature lovers both amateurs and experts
The Festival offers a range of events as new additions to our schedule this year, which we are very excited about
Join us for three days of nature exploration and bee themed creative fun in Skerries.
For the first time we will have an opening night for the Festival on Friday 20th June where we will present Brenda Castle's documentary Plight of the Bumblebee. The documentary depicts the world of bees & their connection to Irish religion, folklore, and biodiversity with a live traditional soundtrack on the night.
We are also delighted to be working with new partners AMBER (https://ambercentre.ie/ ) who will deliver hands-on scientific activities throughout Saturday and Sunday. The workshops will run on the hour and participants can drop in."
