A major End of Life Vehicle (ELV) operation was completed at a site at Barn Lodge in Finglas this week, as Fingal County Council’s Waste Enforcement Unit removed 80 cars and 65 commercial vehicles from the Dublin 11 site.
The four Dublin Local Authorities (Dublin City Council, Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council, Fingal County Council and South Dublin County Council) are preparing an Air Quality Plan to improve levels of nitrogen dioxide (NO2) in ambient air in Dublin.

The brand-new Hole in the Wall Road extension in Fingal has officially been opened today by the Mayor of Fingal, Cllr Seána Ó Rodaigh, the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage Darragh O'Brien, TD, and the Lord Mayor of Dublin Alison Gilliland.
Fingal County Council has made an order temporarily closing Brook Lane, Rush, Co Dublin, to facilitate water and sewer upgrades for a new housing development along Brook Lane. It is proposed that sections of the road will be closed 24 hours from 8th December 2021 until 16th January 2022. The permitted working hours shall be between 18.00 and 08:00 Monday – Friday. No works permitted on Saturday and Sunday nights.
