Every year, the August bank holiday weekend brings tragedies and sorrow to many, either by incidents of drowning, road carnage, fire burns or smoke inhalation. 

Fingal Sports Office is delighted to announce a successful collaboration with Basketball Ireland, bringing the excitement of 3x3 basketball to the heart of the county. The tour, aimed at promoting this fast-paced and dynamic sport, has already witnessed two thrilling events at Balbriggan's Millfield Shopping Centre and the Swords Pavilions Shopping Centre. The next stop is Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, beside Fingal's Library on August 13th, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

The new bridge will cross over the railway line, facilitating a safe and segregated walking and cycle route and enhance the connection to local facilities and services including the train station and Newbridge Demesne. 

The Aircraft Noise Competent Authority (ANCA) has undertaken a review of the effectiveness of noise mitigation measures in place at Dublin Airport. ANCA defined a Noise Abatement Objective (NAO) for Dublin Airport during 2022 and this objective is based on the impact of aircraft noise across a full calendar year.

It is a fully equipped mobile performance venue showcasing singers, musicians, poets, and storytellers. Festival in a Van is being brought to Fingal with the assistance of Fingal County Council and Creative Ireland

Proposed Temporary Closure of Crescent Road Rush, Co. Dublin

As Ireland prepares for their second FIFA Women’s World Cup match against Canada on Wednesday, Fingal County Council’s Sports Office was delighted at the response to their Watch Party for the team’s opening game against hosts Australia last Thursday.

Mayor of Fingal, Councillor Adrian Henchy today officially opened Rathmore Park, the new Town Park for Lusk.

A total of 23 business premises located in the centre of the town were approved for grants under the shopfront improvement scheme. The scheme was initiated to enhance the street and reward local businesses for ensuring shopfronts are well presented.
