Council welcomes publication of Emerging Preferred Route for Luas Finglas which has potential to deliver future growth and development

Fingal County Council has welcomed the publication of the Emerging Preferred Route for Luas Finglas, the proposed extension of the Luas Green Line from Broombridge to Charlestown in Fingal, which has the real potential to deliver on Project Ireland 2040’s vision for future growth and development on the northside of the city and in the wider Fingal area.

Dublin Plein Air festival set to take place for its fourth year

It has been a tough few months for everyone including the arts but thanks to the fighting spirit of the artist community, this year’s Dublin Plein Air painting festival runs from Monday 20 to Sunday 26 July and will bring artists from all over Ireland to paint outdoors (en plein air) around Fingal.

Irish Water redesigns and retrofits lighting systems at a number of large treatment plants resulting in a carbon emissions saving of 240 tonnes every year

Irish Water working in partnership with Dublin City Council, Fingal County Council and Meath County Council has recently completed energy efficiency lighting redesign and retrofit projects at a number of large treatment plants. Inefficient lighting systems at Leixlip, Ballymore Eustace, Swords, Malahide and Navan plants have been upgraded to more energy efficient lighting systems.
