Fingal County Council Heritage Office is embracing the new format for Heritage Week 2020 showcasing the County’s heritage with a fantastic online programme. Coordinated by the Heritage Council since 2005, National Heritage Week has become one of Ireland’s largest cultural events, and will run this year from Saturday, 15th – Sunday, 23rd August.

A temporary Do Not Swim Notice has issued for Loughshinny Beach for 6 days due to visual reports of sewage pollution, likely caused by discharge from wastewater network. 

Family groups can be accommodated in the designated barbeque areas only, however group units larger than 12 will not be permitted.

The Fingal County Council Road Safety Section is delighted to partner with the Irish Centre for Cycling to provide training for safe cycling to GAA clubs in Fingal.  Mayor of Fingal, Cllr. David Healy launched the “Gearing Up for Training” initiative on Tuesday August 4th.  with St. Finian’s GAA Club and Loreto College, Swords.
