The Fingal Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) has issued an invite to groups to apply for funding under the Community Enhancement Programme (CEP) 2020 scheme for community centres and community buildings.

Fingal County Council has issued a Prior Warning Notice for Velvet Strand, Portmarnock and Loughshinny Beach which remains valid for a six-day period.

Fingal County Council is urging members of the public to stay away from the old public toilets and anchor foundation stone in Portrane and to avoid the dunes on Burrow Beach following further coastal erosion in the area this week due to Storm Ellen.

Please note that severe storm events and high tides yesterday have made lifeguards huts unsafe at Malahide, Donabate, Portrane and Rush North beach.There will be no lifeguards on duty at these beaches until further notice.
