Storytelling with Niall de Búrca

 

A show for the whole family. Grab your seat and hang on tight - Niall de Búrca is returning to Fingal Libraries with a special bilingual storytime for Seachtain na Gaeilge. De Búrca is a traditional Irish story-teller whose tales have been told and enjoyed right around Ireland and the world. Suitable for all ages and all levels of Irish, de Búrca will join us for a feast of fantastical tales that will delight the whole family! As the saying goes – a good word never broke a tooth!

Bilingual Knitting Workshop with Cleas Teoranta

Cleas Teoranta are a non-profit company. They carry out wonderful work in their locality: for example, they provide a bus service, grow organic vegetables, offer translation services and facilitate a variety of events and workshops.

For Seachtain na Gaeilge, Cleas Teoranta will join us for two bilingual knitting workshops.

ANCA has commenced assessment of aircraft noise at Dublin Airport

The Aircraft Noise Competent Authority (ANCA) has commenced an assessment of the noise situation at Dublin Airport following a planning application (Planning reference F20A/0668) recently made by the Dublin Airport Authority to Fingal County Council’s Planning Department.

Due to extremely high winds, which pose a danger to staff and members of the public, Estuary Recycling Centre in Swords has closed for the day and will reopen again on Monday.
