The Dublin Regional Skills Forum is a network of nine Regional Skills Fora which encourage stronger links between employers and the education and training sector.

Apprenticeships offer a combination of on-the-job training with an employer and off-the job training at a suitable training location.

Skillnet Ireland also offers some training to eligible unemployed people, and this training is free of charge if you are unemployed.

If you are unemployed you can access the Springboard and Springboard+ Programmes. These programmes are funded by the Department of Education & Skills and managed by the Higher Education Authority

The Education and Training Boards (ETBs), SOLAS and other agencies provide funding for continuing education and training programmes. The ETBs manage second-level, adult, community and second chance education, contact your local ETB for details on what courses are available.

Female entrepreneurs and budding businesswomen from across Fingal are being encouraged to look to the future and register for this year’s National Women’s Enterprise Day after the lineup for the event was announced.
