Slam poetry is joining the Fingal's biggest youth festival event ever in Swords Castle for Cruinniú na nÓg!! The Chapel venue inside the castle grounds will be the setting for Wavin' Words, a more intimate stage for young poets to slam, perform or read their poems.

Age: 14+ years. Everyone welcome! No booking required. Get ready to rock Swords Castle on 7th June 4pm-9pm at We Own The Castle – a vibrant teen music festival celebrating the incredible talents of young musicians, aged 12–19. Garageland Galaxyz is thrilled to be back in Fingal for Cruinniú na nÓg 2025, bringing a tidal wave of youth-powered performances to this iconic venue!

Fingal Inclusion Week 2025 is an initiative led by Fingal County Council Community Development Office. This is the sevent year Fingal Inclusion Week has taken place in Fingal. A number of events will take place across the county of Fingal from the 17th to the 23rd of November. All Fingal Inclusion Week events are free to attend and open to everyone.

Award-winning Dublin author Christine Dwyer-Hickey will sit down with comedian and television personality Kathryn Lynch to discuss her work in this fun and friendly conversation.

Dr. Katriona O’Sullivan will sit down with Clodagh Culligan, Deputy Principal of Balbriggan Community College, to discuss the book, writing and the transformative power of education.

Claire will discuss the hugely successful book with author and critic Claire Hennessy.

Belfast writer Wendy Erskine will be in conversation with author Kevin Curran about her short story collections

Fingal writer Kevin Curran will discuss his critically acclaimed novel Youth with fellow author Olivia Fitzsimons.
