Irish Water, working in partnership with Fingal County Council, is continuing with essential works on the Howth water supply scheme in order to safeguard the water supply for homes and businesses in the area.
Irish Water is working with Fingal County Council to restore water supply to homes and businesses in parts of Portmarnock following a burst watermain. Crews are working to repair the burst watermain as quickly and as safely as possible.
Both watermains repairs are expected to be completed by 4pm. Once the repairs are successfully completed, normal water supply will begin to be restored. Full water supply may take 1-2 hours to return as water refills the network.
Irish Water has rescheduled infrastructural works in Dublin 15, which are planned for next week, in order to minimise disruption to homes and businesses in the area.
