Fáilte Isteach is a community project involving volunteers welcoming migrants through conversational English classes. Classes will commence in Holywell Community Centre on 4th July for a four week period. There is no need to register in advance, all are welcome to attend.

Go back to 1947 for a day! Oldtown is marking its 75 anniversary as the first rural village in Ireland to be electrified, we have many events on the day with a camogie match, tug of War, sheep shearing, cow milking, horse shoe throwing, music and dance and a village market.

Centre Name: Applewood Community Centre

Description: The aim is each person that signs up will complete an average of 5k a day by either walking, jogging, cycling or while using a mobility device. This will total to 35k each week! If you wish to complete 4k one day and 6k the next day that is great as long as you commit to completing 35k each week! Description: Our Art class is run by a DDLETB Tutor and is suitable for anyone who has an interest in art, from beginners to the more experienced. The class in on Thursday mornings and is usually on in our Centre, it is now online while we are in Level 5 restrictions.

Play Therapy can help children to reach their full potential, by supporting them with emotional literacy and behaviour or mental health issues that may arise. Play Therapy can continue to take place in person, during current restrictions, as it is deemed an essential service.
