What is palm Oil?

Palm Oil is used in most processed foods – for making bread, chocolates, crackers, cakes, crisps, soaps, shampoos etc. as it gives a soft consistency.

It has been used for decades, but the precious rainforests of South East Asia are being cleared to make way for these Palm Oil Plantations. This leads to devastating consequences for the nature and communities of that region.

Please look for the Responsibly Sourced Palm Oil RSPO logo or for products that do not contain Palm Oil.
