Thank Goodness Spring is finally here, and the days are getting longer and brighter! Hopefully we are looking forward to sunny skies and brilliant sunshine!

Why not join one of Fingal libraries free online workshops or watch one of our many amazing videos on Fingal libraries YouTube Channel. Our new Spring brochure is full of exciting events waiting for you to explore. Most of the live events can be joined through Eventbrite and the links can be found under each event. The others have email addresses that you can email to book your place. The recorded events on our YouTube channel can be viewed at your leisure, they are available 24/7.

This year’s spring programme covers events online over the next few months to ease us into summer. They include events under the following titles:

  • Healthy Ireland At Your Library
  • Engineers’ week (5th- 7th of March)
  • Seachtain na Gaeilge (1st - 17th of March)

We also have 3 exciting online live conversations with Irish authors that can’t be missed:

  • This month DJ and presenter Damien O’Meara will be chatting to author and journalist Edel Coffey about her debut novel Breaking Point on Monday the 21st of Feb. at 7pm

  • On Tuesday 1st March at 8pm for Seachtain na Gaeilge, Edel will be chatting with the very charismatic and inspiring Mánchan Magan about all things Irish and his latest illustrated book, Tree Dogs, Banshee Fingers and Other Irish Words for Nature, illustrated by Steve Doogan.

  • This year’s One Dublin One Book author Nuala O’Connor will be in conversation with author and journalist Edel Coffey on Friday 22nd April at 7pm about her novel Nora
